Town Jilemnice is situated at the west part of Giant Mountains. It is well known tourist resort. The first information about Jilemnice is from the year 1352.

is situated in the Renaissances castle of Harrachs. Jilemnicke square offers romantic atmosphere and you can listen unique tower`s hours which are situated at the town hall and are from 19th century.
Jilemnice is also connected with famous Jilemnicka tradition – skiing. Skis were brought here by the count Jan Harrach for his forest workers in the winter of 1892. Although these were not the first skis in Czech lands, skiing has become very fast so popular among all groups of inhabitants that Jilemnice has developed into the most important Czech skiing centre, for sure rightly called "the cradle of the Czech skiing".
Sport centre Jilemnice has swimming pool, sauna, skittles, tennis courts, outdoor pool, mini golf. Jilemnice is also ideal for biking.
